Versatile actor Vikram will be trying his hand at singing with his latest film Kanthaswamy. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has persuaded Vikram to lend his voice for one of his compositions for this film.
The film Kandasamy is simultaneously being shot in Tamil and Telugu. With actress Shreya acting opposite Vikram, the movie has been titled Mallanna in Telugu. Vikram is apparently playing a kleptomaniac in the film, due to which he undergoes some problems. Veterans Thotta Tharani, A. S. Laxmi Narayanan and Vairamuthu, winners of nine National Film Awards between them, take care of the art direction, audiography and lyrics respectively.
