The producer of the movie Oscar Productions is into promoting the movie and spent almost 15 million rupees for just audio launch and now is trying to make even US president to watch his movie.
As per latest buzz, talks are on with the help of the producers US counterparts with Whitehouse officials to arrange for the screening.
Dasavatharam story begins with an episode set in the 12th century, and then looks at coincidences. In this, Kamal plays Nambi, a staunch Vaishnavite priest. Other characters are an American, a Chinese man, a CBI officer from Andhra Pradesh, an old lady, a leader from Afghanistan, a Scheduled Tribes’ leader, George Bush, a Punjabi and one character, who looks like Kamal normally does.

Versatile actor Vikram will be trying his hand at singing with his latest film Kanthaswamy. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has persuaded Vikram to lend his voice for one of his compositions for this film.
The film Kandasamy is simultaneously being shot in Tamil and Telugu. With actress Shreya acting opposite Vikram, the movie has been titled Mallanna in Telugu. Vikram is apparently playing a kleptomaniac in the film, due to which he undergoes some problems. Veterans Thotta Tharani, A. S. Laxmi Narayanan and Vairamuthu, winners of nine National Film Awards between them, take care of the art direction, audiography and lyrics respectively.

Dasavatharam release on May 23rd or June 6th?
Producer Oscar Ravichandran who is also the distributor of magnum opus Dasavatharam is hopeful of releasing the movie on May 23rd if everything goes according to the plan. There is only one last part of ‘30 seconds of Tsunami effect’ that needs to be complete and if that is finished on time, the movie will hit the theatres on May 23rd, else the movie will hit the theaters on June 6th.
